where have all the crushers gone?
yes, it's true. this site has lay dormant for a good four months now. we finally admitted to ourselves that we have too much going on in our lives to keep up with all the crushes of the world. we certainly all still have our own, but less time to focus on them, it seems. for that reason we have decided to retire the site. if you have submitted a story and haven't received a reply in months, well, that should explain what happened. we apologize.

the stories that have been posted here between 1999 and 2001 are going to remain here in archived format, but the writers of these stories may be featuring them in print publications and on other websites.

thank you to everyone who has visited and enjoyed crush.nu. christine, lisa and i appreciate all the kind and inspiring e-mails you have sent us regarding this site and the stories here. we wish we could keep it going, but alas, we can only hope that others will create crush-related sites of their own in our wake. as christine would say, "keep on crushin'!"
